Jerry Davis

Gerald Davis became President and CEO of Goodwill Central Texas (GCT) in 1998. His career began as an occupational therapist at St. Charles Hospital, in Toledo, Ohio. Over the next twelve years, he served as Vice President, Assistant Professor, Accreditation Surveyor and Consultant in several medical centers. Davis began his career with Goodwill in 1993 as the President in Sandusky, Ohio. He has served as the chair of Goodwill Industries International's (GII) Board of Directors, and the GII Conference of Executives and served/chaired numerous national committees. Currently, Davis is a board member of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, Austin Community Advancement Network, Vistage Group 3722, and Young Chamber of Commerce Advisors, and is the President of Workability International. He has chaired and served numerous other nonprofit boards, including recently the University Federal Credit Union, and I Live Here I Give Here. He has been named Entrepreneur of the Year, CEO of the Year, and Ethics in Business Individual of the Year locally, and has won four national GII awards.
