Hon. Bill Boyce, Vice-Chair

Bill Boyce is a partner at Alexander Dubose and Jefferson LLP in Houston, Texas, where he pursues a wide-ranging appellate practice and serves as an arbitrator through the American Arbitration Association. He served as a justice on the Fourteenth Court of Appeals in Houston for 11 years after practicing law for 18 years as an associate and partner at Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P. While on the bench, he headed the Texas Judicial Council’s Committee on Mental Health; the Committee’s recommendations included creation of the Texas Judicial Commission on Mental Health, which was accomplished by a joint order of the Supreme Court of Texas and the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals in 2018.
