Commission Travel
The Judicial Commission on Mental Health (JCMH) is funded by the 85th Texas Legislature Regular Session H.B.1 (“General Appropriations Act”), Supreme Court of Texas, Strategy B.1.2 ("Court Improvement Projects") and is thereby governed by the reimbursement policies of the Supreme Court of Texas. Reimbursement of expenses incurred during travel to and from a JCMH sponsored/hosted event or meeting must conform to the travel guidelines. You are advised to read through the travel guidelines prior to making any travel arrangements to ensure that your expenses are allowable.

Meetings are open to the public and held at the Texas Law Center, at the Supreme Court courtroom, or online. Please confirm meeting locations on the JCMH Commission Meetings page.
Note: The JCMH does not provide legal representation, render legal advice, or discuss specific or ongoing cases.
Before entering the courtroom, visitors must pass through a security check that includes a metal detector and a physical search of bags and briefcases.
Food and drinks are not allowed inside the courtroom.
Each meeting notebook is posted online in a printable format prior to the meeting. Visitors are encouraged to print their own copies as very few extra copies are provided.
