Jason Bramow serves as Assistant General Counsel for Texas Governor Greg Abbott. In addition to time in private practice, Jason has experience in all branches of state government, having served as General Counsel for State Senator Phil King, Assistant Attorney General in the Texas Attorney General’s Office, and Assistant Criminal District Attorney in Lubbock County. Throughout his career, Jason has prosecuted crime and defended the agencies, employees, and interests of the State of Texas in hundreds of cases before state and federal trial and appellate courts.
Jason earned his B.B.A., M.S., and J.D. from Texas Tech University. He lives in Round Rock with his wife, and is a member of the Texas Bar College, Texas Supreme Court Historical Society, and Williamson County Bar Association.
Jason serves as an ex-officio member of the Texas Judicial Commission on Mental Health.
