Hon. David W. Jahn, Denton

Judge Dave Jahn is the presiding judge of Denton County Probate Court No. 1. He is the former presiding judge of Denton County Criminal Court Number One. He previously served as the Associate Probate Judge for Denton County for 10 years, and was an assistant district attorney in Denton, Wise, and Jack counties before being appointed to the bench.

He is a veteran of the United States Army having served nine years as a Chief Warrant Officer and Senior Army Aviator with deployments to Somalia and Kuwait. He is a member of American Legion “Arthur O. McNitzky” Post 71 in Denton, Texas. Judge Jahn is a graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and Texas A&M School of Law.
